Welcome

The Professional Staff Senate (PSS) is the official representative body of professional, or exempt, staff employed at UMBC. The PSS provides a forum for discussing issues involving or of interest to exempt staff members, such as academic and administrative policies. PSS works diligently to maintain and contribute to community life at UMBC. Each year, the senators create an action plan for the year. 2019-2020 PSS Action Plan (the 2021-22 Action Plan will be up shortly). Senators also serve on campus and PSS committees each year. PSS Committee List.

Want to learn more about being a Senator? Check out this information from the PSS Info Session 3-30-2020.
